testing...testing...let me know what you see!

Things I forgot to mention but spontaneously remembered before I signed out

How could I forget!!! We had our ultrasounds and our precious butterfly is doing great! We don't have a name for her yet but we are working on it.

Kayla learned to ride her two wheeler today with out training wheels and again if I can figure out how to upload video that is going on here as well :)

OK that is all for tonight.

July/August update

Wow! I am a pathetic blogger! Ok well if I must try I think I can manage to remember some of the month of July. We started it off the same way we have started the last three July's and that is with Alexis' birthday! She is now Three years old and is so much fun and has so much personality. We travelled on her birthday this year to the cabin so we made it special by having her birthday party at breakfast and then stopping at Mcdonalds for lunch (normally I throw sandwiches at them while we drive) That trip we shared with friends from our church,Tim and Laura Bedell and kids (5). I  do not recall other than parades going and doing anything out of the ordinary...

We then came home for the rest of July to move into our new house. It is a little crowded with stuff at the moment that we are still trying to find a place for or unpack because frankly we were not very organized and have taken our sweet time until this week. We have been sleeping and "in" our house since the 19th of July so that is part of why I was MIA for so long. No internet access until the first friday in August and then we went up to the cabin right away. Anywho, It has been an overly busy and tiring two months. We were at the cabin the second week in August with my family. It was as always a fun time and we even checked out some waterfalls.

Then we came home so that Matthew could work...and I mean work pretty much the whole time! I was so grateful at that point that we were in the new house because some of the shifts were pagers that he was able to come home and be with us between calls. It helps too when he works with his good buddy Joe and they can come hang out even on duty truck.
The last trip to the cabin was with my cousin Jake and his wife and kids. We also did a water fall but it rained a lot during the time that we were up there, and the kids (I think because of the rain keeping them inside) did not get along terribly well. Here is a few pics from the waterfall trip we took.

The gang; Rylie, Andrea, Sierra, Carrie&Hunter, Jake and Jalyn, and Kayla is in there somewhere

We took a few family photos of other people so one of them was nice enough to take one of all of us. The older girls look just thrilled don't they!
Alexis humoring me and "smiling" for the camera

My guys! All smiles in the great out of doors

Ok had to put in two because those boys are just too cute!

Well I am playing with the video camera so if I can figure out how to post videos then I will post some of the fun that the kids have had this summer. Love to all!

New addition

Well the blog site was not working the other day so my update was lost. Anyways we are proud to announce that we are expecting our fifth child in December around the 27th. Please be in prayer over the baby and his/her health. We have had five miscarriages and so we are always very concerned about the health of our baby. So far the pregnancy seems to be going ok. I have not been able to get into the doc yet so I have not yet heard the heartbeat nor gotten the confirmation on how far along I am. I am not as sick this time around but very nauseated (some icky sickness involved) all the time and I am super super tired. I do not cope well with life due to the tiredness and so I guess I have been slightly irritable. You can pray for my family for that. HAha! Ok that is all. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Father Daughter banquet

Well Saturday was the day of parties. Matthew had a board meeting in the morning just after work so while he was doing business I was getting girls all prettied up for their "date" with dad. Friday night after work we had gone out shopping for new dresses (pay day you know) and I was so blessed to find them on the sale rack for only 5 dollars apiece! The shoes for Alexis cost more than her dress did. LOL! When Matthew was finished with his meeting we took some pictures in the yard and then they went on their merry way and had a fabulous time! They got "glass slippers" filled with candy, and told of the story that the speaker had given about  a man with four daughters that had dreamed of four sons and found that he is totally in love with his dancing, twirling, singing little darlings. They were impacted enough by it that they remembered it enough to tell me. They did nice pictures at the party and the girls twirled and danced and laughed as they told of how much fun they had had. I was so encouraged and touched by the love and fun that they all had together...

Back at home Z and I played on the trampoline and watched our contacerous sqirrels fight in the yard (very amusing). They have been quite snippy with each other all week. After a while we came in for lunch. I got applesauce thrown at me and hot dogs flung on the floor. It was perfect. And then there was naps and graduation parties...we were very well fed that day :)

Forgot to mention that Z turned 1 :) Lil Zachary Alan had his belated birthday party. It was not what I had planed but life rarely is.

May update

Ok since I seem to be a dud at getting posts in here I am thinking it might be easier if I just shoot for once a month and see what happens. Maybe that will get me on a roll. LOL! So mothers day came and went. We were at the cabin as I said before. It was very nice but not relaxing. Matthew worked on the siding that was removed and needing to be replaced. I did most of the deep spring cleaning which included washing the ceilings and walls and dusting, mopping and the such. I was sore and tired. Matthew put some steps on one end of the deck so it is a little more completed but still needs the other side and a railing of some sort. I will take pics when he is finished.

After that we came home to do school and prepare for small group. It was very busy that week! I worked a few times in there and then we packed it up and went back to the cabin to finish out the month.

Our annual fishing trip!!! This is the second year that Matthew has invited Joe Culver to come up with us for the Walleye jamboree, though smaller than it has been in the passed due to lack of advanced planning it was still fun. The fishing was good though not many keepers were to be found. Andrea suprised us all when she won first place for the kids by catching three fairly large Walleye! The largest in at 23 inches. She won a really pretty pink fishing pole that has a light up reel. It is very cool and high quality so she will be able to fish with it for a long time. Joe caught six keepers. Matthew caught no keepers and Kayla caught no keepers but they all caught ALOT of fish. Matthew said they were biting constantly so it was fun fishing.

As for me and the kids we mostly swam and played out doors. It was in the 80s all week and so it was perfection. God sure gave us awesome weather for our trip...oh yeah and He cleared out the bugs for us!!! :) woo hoo! No black flies this time and the mosquitoes were not really a bother either.

Home again and our big news for the begining of June is that we finally have a closing date. We will close on our new house the 30th of June. We are very excited!
